A childrens playground Oakes designed for Tuckers Grove Park, Santa Barbara County. In his words he wanted to create an environment for children that would encourage imagination; the mineral element is represented by a granite slide in the form of a truncated cone. Supported by the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission and the Santa Barbara County Parks Department. (This is a third designed playground alongside Legacy and Play Area/Solar Garden.)
